HistoryExtra cover a broad range of topics and events from the past, and were looking for support managing their community. They needed a team who were confident to chat about Henry VIII one moment, and World War II the next, as well as everything in between.

Working on a historical account comes with its own challenges, and the need to be factually accurate in your community management is very important, and a need that was high on the priority list for HistoryExtra.

Alongside this was the ambition to ensure community engagement was interesting and had the ability to open up a conversation with followers, rather than just blanket broadcast replies.

Alongside community management, we also work closely with the in-house team on supporting specific content and promoting important items such as their award winning podcast and the HistoryExtra Academy.
